What is the process and cost of egg freezing?
This is a mother's diary. We want to share her joy and luck with more people.
On May 15, the transplant process took less time than expected, just a few minutes. In that moment, I was deeply moved; perhaps this is a new fate – my baby, you're here!
On May 18, following the doctor's advice to rest more and stay relaxed, I still can't help but wonder: Am I pregnant? Today, I checked the pregnancy test three times, maybe I'm too anxious.
On May 20, the 5th day post-transplant, constant communication with IVF USA's doctors reduced my anxiety. Eating fiber-rich fruits and vegetables, avoiding constipation, and maintaining a calm mindset by reading books became my routine.
On May 29, the legendary 14th day, the first thing in the morning was a urine test – wow! Two lines! Still doubtful, I went to the hospital for a blood test. The results didn't disappoint – 1979, a successful batch, exceeding 80%. Looking at the report, touching my belly, I suddenly wanted to cry. My baby! My dear baby!
The first IVF attempt succeeded – incredibly lucky! In summary, the key is to listen to the doctor and maintain a calm mindset!
Recently, many people have been inquiring about post-transplant care. Today, we want to discuss more about embryo transfer.
The implantation period after IVF-PGT is a crucial phase in the entire process, and successful implantation indicates the potential success of IVF pregnancy. In reality, the IVF-PGT procedure is non-invasive; it doesn't require anesthesia, and only a few women might feel mild discomfort. During the procedure, under ultrasound monitoring, the doctor uses an implantation tube through the vagina to place the embryo in the ideal position in the uterine cavity. The entire transplant process is short and may cause a needle-like pricking sensation.
IVF-PGT using frozen embryos typically starts implanting within 3-5 days. However, due to individual variations in women's physical conditions and embryo quality, the timing of implantation after IVF-PGT using frozen embryos can vary. Some may successfully implant 3-7 days after the transplant, while others may take 7-14 days. The true confirmation of successful pregnancy requires a blood test 14 days after the transplant.
Six Post-Embryo Transfer Care Tips:
1.Diet: Maintain a balanced diet, avoiding picky eating. Consume foods rich in fiber, vitamins, and folic acid.
2.Rest is crucial: In the first 48 hours post-transplant, try to lie down more, maintain a flat position, avoid vigorous movements or getting up forcefully. Arrange your schedule wisely and ensure sufficient sleep.
3.Exercise: Avoid strenuous activities like stretching, tiptoeing, or lifting heavy objects. Small indoor activities are acceptable, but sexual activities are prohibited.
4.Bathing: Do not bathe within the first 48 hours post-transplant. Afterward, you can bathe every other day or with longer intervals, using warm water instead of cold water.
5.Maintain a positive mindset: Stay optimistic and avoid excessive worry about the results.
6.Monitor body reactions: You may feel discomfort post-transplant, but avoid taking medications without consulting a doctor.
